DateMonthYear began life in 2003 as an anti-band, a project best described as a "flexible recording and performing unit". The idea was to create a music making situation not tied to the idea of a "band".Styles and personnel were to remain as flexible as possible. Three years, two CDs, two orchestral concerts, several TV placements,and a multiude of gigs later, the DateMonthYear blue team has dominated proceedings with a sound best descirbed as a blend of Movie atmospheres, Rock dynamics, and pop melodies.
